About Me

Spirituality Without All the “Woo” or Too Much Religion.

The world is searching for spiritual depth and connection.

But so much of what is out there is either too religious & dogmatic or, on the other end of the spectrum too out there or spiritually “woo-woo.”

There’s a growing number of people who are searching for authentic spiritual growth and transformation. Many of whom identify as “spiritual but not religious.”

If this sounds like you and are looking to connect to your spiritual heart, true self, and the divine, then you are in the right place.

My aim is to pave a middle way, grounded in contemplative practice and self awareness, helping those hungry for spiritual depth and transformation slow down and find peace within.

Hi, I'm Keith Kristich

I live in Buffalo, NY with my (amazing) partner and wife, Colleen, and son Silas. I’m a lover of nature, good conversation, and am often found with a book, banjo, or guitar in hand.

During times of quiet in 2009, I found myself meditating by accident! Not understanding what was happening, I immediately began to look into Buddhism (like many, I associated the word “meditation” with the word “Buddhism”).

Soon after, I rediscovered the mystical teachings and practices within the Christian Contemplative Tradition. I later began to widen my study and practice to understand the contemplative dimensions of many spiritual and religious traditions.

Through deepening study and practice, I ultimately sought out certification in teaching contemplative prayer, centering prayer, meditation, and the Enneagram.

Training

I am a commissioned teacher of Centering Prayer through Contemplative Outreach, trained with the Shalem Institute in leading contemplative prayer groups and retreats and am a certified Enneagram teacher through the Conscious Living Center.

It is now my work to walk alongside those who wish to nourish and deepen their spiritual life and wellbeing through contemplative prayer, meditation, and personality study. This allows me to journey with people in leading retreats, regular contemplative practice groups, and in one-on-one coaching settings, both in person and online.

My ultimate aim is to help people slow down and reconnect with their deepest and truest self.

5 Things Happy People Do Right

Happiness is an “inside job” that begins with opening to our natural mind and spiritual center.

“We are kept from the experience of Spirit because our inner world is cluttered with past traumas . . . As we begin to clear away this clutter, the energy of divine light and love begins to flow through our being.”
— Thomas Keating
